The Right Real Estate Broker

People don't talk about it a lot. But finding the right real estate agent can be the difference between a happy, stress-free home buying or selling experience, and an unhappy, stressful experience.

First, you'll want an agent that is a Real Estate Broker, I am.  A Real Estate Broker has a Broker's license through the California Department of Real Estate.  Most Real Estate Agents have the minimal licensing requirements and only have a Sales Persons License.  A very low percentage of Real Estate Agents have taken the difficult steps and additional licensing to become a Broker.  A Brokers license is the highest licensing possible from the California Department of Real Estate.  You'll want to check the California Department of Real Estate's website to check the licensing status.  The website is www.DRE.CA.Gov  You should only deal with agents associated with the National Association of REALTORS, I am.  This is an association that holds agents to the highest possible ethical standards.  

Second, you'll want a Broker with experience.  I have been involved in the Real Estate Industry, since 1996.  You'll want someone to make a fulltime commitment to you. I can and will do that.  You need someone who knows the local neighborhoods, schools, market conditions, ordinances, etc. With my years of experience in the local market - I have the expertise and track record of success you need.

Third, you'll want an agent who embraces the convenience of technology without losing the personal touch. You'll love the resources available on my website and the e-mail alerts that I send, but these will never replace the time I spend with you, serving as your personal guide through this exciting process.

Fourth, you'll want a real estate Broker that understands the complex world of lending.  In today's difficult lending environment this could mean the difference between selling your home or having your home fall in and out of contract.
